Sounds interesting - done right, could be a decent horror franchise. Only thing that could scuttle that is it's being done for Disney and not one of Disney's more adult production arms, like Touchstone.

I have never even heard of Nick of Time.

There should be a double feature of 'Nick of Time' and 'Out of Time'. Both were decent but unremarkable films.
