He was good in 'Ray' and 'Collateral'. QT has the knack for getting the absolute best out of actors, so I'd anticipate we'd at LEAST get something at the level of those two films out of Jamie. I'll see it.

Maybe he has toned it down, but when he first was becoming a "real" actor and getting some respect he went on a bit of a tirade on some interviews, a lot of it being a kind of racist asshole. I remember one thing in particular was an interview where he was asked about going from In Living Color and broad comedy to more serious work, and how it surprised people to see the change and he went on a rant about how white people were surprised black people couldn't be dancing jigaboos or some stupid shit like that.
