    OK, so it comes out next week. Word is mixed on it so far.

    The Daily Mirror panned it.
    Drew over at HitFix loved it.

    Indications over at the other site suggest that we all need to lower our expectations.

    Bummed. LOVE the first film.

    I'm not really worried. It looks like incredible fun again. I think Downey's performance will elevate it above any issues it may have. And fucking SAM ROCKWELL people! It's going to be so much goddamn fun.

        I sure hope that you're right. Hell, I love the clips that I've seen so far...I'm just afraid that all of it fails to come together into a cohesive whole. We'll see.

          In times like these, I'm reminded of the sage advice of one William T. Sote:

          ...or was it "You ain't gonna shit right for a week?"

          Either way, goin' in with a skeptic's mindset and hoping for standard fare will help if/when it kicks you in the braindick.
