Laundry is in the dryer, I am two dead soldiers down, and eating a post-gore sammich.

The use of modern language aside, there were some dismemberments that would give Rambo an second erection with mutant arms attached, curling dumbbells. That's not including the legion's little downtime snack. Holy fuck. Rambo's second mutant erection would spawn dick arms at that point...and they'd continue curling dumbbells.

The cinematography was beautiful and enhanced the scope of the picture. And the variety of locations added to the scale of it all.

It was rather short (an hour and thirty seven minutes), but thoroughly enjoyable.

Even though she doesn't say a fucking thing the entire time, Olga was the standout. Marshall has a knack for creating Boudiccas, and Etain is another one to add to the list.

It's a Neil Marshall movie with swords and shit. And it's pretty fun.

My advice is to catch it in a theater if you can. The photography deserves a wide-ass screen.
