I was in the McFarlane/Jim Lee camp briefly. I do, however, have a couple of early issues of Youngblood, and... damn. Never got why Liefield had such a huge fanbase back then, as I hated his artwork (and fuck whoever colored those first issues - couldn't begin to tell you what the hell was going on in each panel). But, God love 'em, his fanbase back then was damn rabid.
