Inception (Spoilers!)

I've been a fan of Nolan since my wife and I saw 'Memento' at the Lagoon theater. To say that I'm pumped for this is an understatement of the nth degree.

Troy, thank you for avoiding spoilers. I look forward to discussing the movie once I've seen it.

I like Nolan and his detached filmmaking.

And it seems I will continue to do so. He is in my "can do no wrong" director club, and he's batshit insane to boot.

(Can't agree with the Batman hate. At all. It's eleventy billion times better than what we were left with after Shoemaker and WB shot failsperm on the Caped Crusader's chest.)

I got choked the fuck up when Cobb finally saw his children's faces at the end. Goddamn babyman over here.

First movie this year I'm going to make plans to see again in the theater. The only one truly worth another kick.

Also: quieter moments in the soundtrack immediately conjured Brade Runnah. Liked those soft cues Zimmer added.

I wasn't quite as spellbound as some, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. There's so much to soak up and ruminate on. It's beautifully shot, well-acted and scored, quick, gorgeously designed...

I took a class in my second year of uni called Cinema and Psychoanalysis. Part of the module -- naturally/awesomely -- was watching films and discussing them in detail afterward. This should make a spectacular choice for such classes, in the future.

Also, Tom Hardy and Joseph Gordon-Levitt are beyond pimp.
