    With so many crappy remakes of good films there is one fucking movie that is dying for a damn remake. It's an 80's film that has spawned a ton of shitty sequels and several craptastic TV shows. It is just sitting around nowadays, begging for someone with talent to pick it up and gently give it a sweet remake fuck.

        I totally agree. Highlander in theory is awesome, but in practice (minus Clancy) is fucking stupid. Just sayin'.

          It hasn't aged well at all. For a movie that relies on sword play, the fights are really weak. Besides Clancy and the Queen theme, it just doesn't hold up.

          Not to mention how the sequels have completely shat all over the original.

            No way dooooode! Something about the crappiness leant itself to the overall far-out aspect. At least to me. It could be remade, but hollywood is so fucked that I can't think of who would be good to write, direct, or star in it.

              Well I havn't actually sat around thinking about who would do it, but it's prime fodder to be remade.

              Actually, Matthew Vaughn would be a great choice to direct.

                              As far as remakes go...I know most people want to see it remade, but I'm totally opposed to "They Live" getting a new treatment. That shit is too perfect ever to be remade IMO.
