Guess what? By saying that, it isn't a "big surprise" by default by you stating that. Dumbasses.

Do you think XM:FC has ANY shot of making bank?

It'll make money, sure. But both in terms of dollars and ticket-sales, I don't see things boding well for First Class - unless word-of-mouth is strong enough and all the competition is shit. Tracking is apparently still low.

Like we've been saying, people have been burned by this franchise too much now.

I have a feeling it's going to be lost in the crowded summer. That, in addition to the fact that it's a prequel ("Where's that Wolverine fella?" "I don't understand why Prof. X has hair?") may hurt it, which is a shame, as I felt it was on par with Thor.

Kill them. I know people (non-nerds) who walked out hating The Last Stand because "they either killed everyone or took away their powers!"

Seriously though, the drop-offs for both were bad. It's like what went down with Shrek 4 and what's going on right now with Pirates 4. People are getting serious fatigue.

I can buy 'loving' X3; it was passably made and had some reasonably cool moments in it. 'Loving XO:W simply baffles me. It's one of the most incompetently made films that I've seen in YEARS.
