The Pumpkins were not very good live though. At least not when I saw them.

They're fucking horrible live because
A: Everything on the albums that isn't drums is Billy, and he can't do that on stage (James and Darcy were literally there to look pretty)

B: Billy can't sing for shit. It works in the studio. It REALLY does not live.

I listened to it front to back five times the other week. Still rips paint off the walls. Do, however, be afraid to re-visit Melon Collie. Billy needs the constraint of a 13 track album to reign his bullshit in.

Totally agree. An incredible album exists in that mess, though.
