Yeah, I recall seeing one gorgeous blonde sucking down what one would, at first glance, mistake for a rather large Milky Way dark chocolate bar.

Punched out soon after. Gimme that old school porn... Kay Parker, Colleen Brennan, Anette Haven, where'd you all go?

LITHIUM! Yes, totally spaced on the name of the channel. When I first got XM about 4 years ago it was amazing. Lots of Fishbone, Mother Love Bone, Dinosaur Jr, just more of the bands that didn't get so much play. Now they put in late 90s pop shit uuuugh

That's another thing... outside of satellite radio, very few rock/alternative stations in my neck of the woods. Used to rely on 106.3 (WHTG) for many, many years, but they went all pop/autotune and then recently went country. College stations are somewhat reliable, with 89.5 topping 'em all (Seton Hall's Pirate Radio. Some alternative, but mostly metal)

Mad props, again to Iggy for hooking me up to 101.9. Actually heard some Husker Du the other night! You da man, Ig!

Shit, we don't even have a flat our rock station anymore in Houston. The legendary ROCK 101 KLOL was shut down for the 17th Latino station (seriously) in Houston. Now we have one alt-rock station (think Dashboard Confessional and Nickelback, not Chains and Soundgarden) and a classic rock station that plays Eagles and Stevie Nicks all fucking day.

And that is why my iPod goes with me everywhere.

            Fuck radio.

Seriously, invest in Satellite Radio. I regret not one penny of that monthly subscription.

I've really thought about doing that, but I don't spend a HUGE amount of time in my car.

Same as Ed. I'm only in my car listening to the radio going to work and back. Otherwise, I've got a podcast (hello, Ed, Rob, Lesley, Ceej, Bobby!) playing in the back while I fuck around on my computer at home.

I keep my iPod and iPhone with me at all times. iPod never goes off at work unless I am listening to a podcast.

I skipped a couple of years but this piece on 1995 was pretty good.

Read this one this morning. Really good, but Staley always got too much credit as a productive member of AIC. Cantrell was half of the vocals and the majority of the song writing for them. Still a shame Layne just gave up though.
