Local bands

Anybody into local music? Have a favorite? Dayton had a bit of a heyday in the early 90's when we were supposed to be the "New Seattle." It had peaked before my time, but there were still some awesome bands. There still are a few, but its not like the old days. I can not believe I just typed that. My band is playing its last show next Saturday. We are finishing mixing a quick and dirty recording of our material on Sunday to be given away at the show. How many more topics can I cram into one post?

I haven't gone to a local band show in what seems like forever. I just don't have the time anymore. Although, being in Minneapolis, there are a bunch of good local bands. Good luck with the mixing.

Put 6 of the 10 tracks up on our myspace today. The URL doesn't match the band name, it was the name of a previous incarnation of the band with a different singer.
