Anybody a fan? I can't listen to their stuff all the time, and the last two albums are even more far out than the first two. Moments of pure brilliance though. Also incredible live. Even if you don't like the records, you should check them out live. The smaller the venue the better.

Re: The Mars Volta
I never really got into them that much but my friend Sarah is a huge fan. They definately have skills, it's just not my type of music."Looking like Nic Cage dressed in Kurt Cobain's closet. I mean that as a compliment" - BillyG
"Too cunty for wine bars, too dainty for real bars." - Anderson

Re: The Mars Volta
They're one of my favorite bands right now. I could've gone to the Yahoo Live Sets show they did a month ago, but I had a family thing come up. I actually saw the show on MHD (music hi-def) and it seemed pretty cool. Frances the Mute is my favorite album but the Bedlam in Goliath album is sick!!!Instagram: thepatronsaintofcheeseburgers

Re: The Mars Volta
I'm a huge fan of At the the Drive In and both of it's spin offs (The Mars Volta and Sparta). In my personal opinion, At the Drive-In's best album is "Relationship on Command", Mars Volta's is "De-Loused at the Comatorium", and Sparta's is "Wiretap Scars". I do agree that The Mars Volta's newest album "The Bedlam in Goliath" is pretty damn crazy.
