In the meantime, for those who aren't aware, or haven't checked out my sig, I play guitar in a band. Rob featured one of the songs I wrote to end out a cast once, and Bobby has listened to pretty much our entire catalog at this point. For those who haven't had a chance to hear us yet, please take a listen and let me know what you think. We've got a handful of our tunes on our myspace, and we're currently in the process of recording and re-recording for our next full length album (by ourselves, at home! Scary!), so there will be more to come if you enjoy.

So, we just finished out "album" version of Maryanne. As we kept getting better at the home recording thing, we kept re-doing it, but I think this will be the last version (unless Sony pays us to re-do it, haha). Would anyone want to hear it? I'm going to leave our myspace page alone when it comes to re-recordings, at least until the whole album is done, but unless there is some way to post it here (?) I can email it to anyone if you guys are interested. Bobby's already got a fresh copy for Back Talk!

He certainly does... and he loves this version even more than the original. Sounds huge, mate. If you'd told me in advance how different the approach to the vocals was gonna be, I wouldn't have expect to like it as much as I did. They have a swagger now that sets off against the punchy guitars wonderfully. Speaking of which, I love the subtle changes made to your guitar work, right down to the new outtro.

Another great job all round! I look forward to introducing the small band of rebels who listen to our podcast to it.
