Never got into Nirvana. They're good, I suppose, but I never got the OMG KURT IS BETTER THAN LENNON thing. I personally preferred Soundgarden and AIC over them, easily.
Never got the appeal of Pearl Jam either. 'VS' was a great album, but the rest of it left me cold.Originally posted by MartinWho the fuck is Kellan Lutz?Originally posted by gravediggerBasically what I'm saying is that, based on what I've watched so far, we should all listen to Matt more often.Originally posted by MartinAnd who the FUCK is Peaches Geldof?
Kellan Lutz's girlfriend?

I have always held Soundgarden, AIC, and Nirvana in the same regard. I can and do listen to all three of them damn near daily. I never got the Kurt omggggg shit either, but I've never understood idolization in all its forms. I had a school mate that swore him and Kurt were the only people that knew all the Nirvana lyrics, and that nobody else knew what Kurt was actually saying. I went to H&H and bought a "Nevermind" sheet music book with all the lyrics and brought it to him.
Pearl Jam, all you need is Black from 10, VS, and Vitalogy. Everything else is shit warmed over.

Mudhoney's great.
Also, I've grown to love PJ's Binaural a lot."Here, young man, your hormones are raging. Let's go in this bedroom, and we'll engage in some homosexual acts. You'll find you like it." - Rep. Ken Peterson, R-Billings
"You're born alone and you die alone and this world just drops a bunch of rules on top of you to make you forget those facts. But I never forget. I'm living like there's no tomorrow, because there isn't one." - Don Draper

All I could do to keep from smashing my TV to bits. That moment was the end of any respect I ever had for Rolling Stone, and MTV, too for that matter.
I'll grant you Cobain was talented, and had a lot of potential, but we're talking The Walrus here, folks.
