Didn't really ever get a good read on The Dead Weather and their first LP, but Sea of Cowards is warped in all of the right ways.

The psychedelic, sludgy guitar sound that appears throughout the record is awesome. It is a kinsman of QOTSA's more bluesy riffs, but given an even greater distortion, almost sounding digital at points (although it was achieved through strictly analog means).
