    Honestly, I'm pretty meh on the first film. The second one is a glorious bit of anarchy, though.

              Seriously, I don't HATE 'Gremlins'. Parts of it are good, but it's pretty inconsistent for me. You certainly won't see me starting a 'Gremlins: You're All Insane' thread.

              'Gremlins 2' has all of the pure anarchy that the first one was lacking. I thought it was an absolute scream.
