"A 12 year old boy goes missing in 1978, only to reappear once more in 1986. In the eight years that have passed, David hasn't aged. It is no coincidence that at the time David 'comes back', a flying saucer is found, entangled in electricity cables. "
For a kids movie, it's kinda dark actually. I remember being scared a bit as a kid thinking about this happening to me. But then we meet MAX and all is forgiven. Decent FX for 1986 concerning the spaceship. Granted nostalgia has probably blinded me a bit when it comes to this, but I wouldn't mind a re-make of this flick today. Plus it has a cute SJP in an early role. And she listens to Twisted Sister! Haha.
