            There are new transfers sourced closer to 4K. I'm waiting to see screenshots or samples of the new transfers in action.

            What's funny is when you see people shitpoke the Despecialized Edition without realizing the kind of people working on them. These are FX artists, DPs and related techs doing this in their downtime.

            Hammy gets most of the attention, but the work is done by people far more qualified than him.

                I emailed that Despecialized guy years ago and he never got back to me. I'm glad people are still carrying the torch for those versions.

                  Yeah, he never emailed me back either. I had a digital copy that for some reason only ANH continued working on Plex but resolved that myself.
