After the film ends, what happens to the characters?

What would happen to them after the film ends? Would they lead quiet lives off of the grid for the rest of their lives? Would they even stay together without the 'rush' of competition? Would they eventually get caught?

I agree that he'd retire from law enforcement. For some reason, I see him being a teacher for a few years before fully retiring...I think that he'd like to somehow influence the youth for a while.

Totally serious, no joke, in CA 1988, before my family moved to MN for my Dad's 3M job, I tried out for the part of Willow's son, Ranon Ufgood, played by Mark Vande Brake, who I meet actually, because he coincidentally lived in the same town, Granite Falls, MN, as my grandparents.
