Absolutely brutal. The first 20-30 minutes is some incredible filmmaking, but I found the second half a tough watch.

That said, its got more on its mind that any 10 American horror/torture films.

I preach that movie a lot. After a lot of deliberation I find it one of the best horror movie. Ever. It really gets under your skin. And Ben's assessment is good, but while the 2nd half is a tough watch, it's VERY well made.

Came and went pretty fast, I don't think I saw a single review of it. I want to see it though, just because Giamatti looks like he is hamming it up something special.

I watched GET SHORTY again last night and loved it. I never did see the sequel. Worth the effort? I recall the reviews for it not being great.
