It looks neat and Denzel plays a badass but the story is kind of a turd. It's worth a watch on a "nothing else to do" afternoon.

That's one I've always meant to see, and never got around to. My general rule of thumb? Despite the fact that Tom Cruise is batshit crazy in real life, his movies are generally very good. I've not seen a Tom Cruise movie that I haven't at the very least liked the hell out of.

Days of Thunder is a snooze fest.

But it's unlike either of those two films.

IMO, his work in Interview with a Vampire and Born on the Fourth of July are his best.
