God, The Other Guys is fucking hilarious."Here, young man, your hormones are raging. Let's go in this bedroom, and we'll engage in some homosexual acts. You'll find you like it." - Rep. Ken Peterson, R-Billings
"You're born alone and you die alone and this world just drops a bunch of rules on top of you to make you forget those facts. But I never forget. I'm living like there's no tomorrow, because there isn't one." - Don Draper

The Other Guys - very good, lulzed here and there, and always great to see Keaton in action. Ferrel and Wahlberg delivered; especially loved the scene with Ferrel, Mendes, and the Mendes' character's mom acting as the go-between. Liked the chase scene, and the infographics re: Ponzi schemes, and bailouts (RAGE!), etc. at the end.
Scott Pilgrim - pretty good, though I wasn't sucked into it like I thought I would be. Michael Cera did a great job, but his character struck me as a bit of a dick when it came to romance - still haven't made the commitment to reading the books yet (I will eventually), so those might give me better perspective on the characters. Will probably give this another spin, see if I can get more into it.
Thor - Frickin' awesome. 'Nuff said. Perfect capstone to what turned out to be a very comics-influenced weekend for me (Saturday was Free Comic Book Day, and I revisited some stuff in my collection).

'Hearts of Darkness: A Filmaker's Apocalypse'. Still one of the best documentaries that I've ever seen. The truly candid stuff with FFC going insane is kinda frightening.Originally posted by MartinWho the fuck is Kellan Lutz?Originally posted by gravediggerBasically what I'm saying is that, based on what I've watched so far, we should all listen to Matt more often.Originally posted by MartinAnd who the FUCK is Peaches Geldof?

The King's Speech
While good, it would have played better had it been an HBO tv movie. There was no reason this should have won best director compared to David Fincher. However, if Bale had not been in The Fighter, Geoffrey Rush would have definitely won for Lionel Logue."Everything is amazing right now and no one is happy" - Louis C.K.

Sorry, but I loved 'the King's Speech' without reservation. 10/10. I was thoroughly entertained from beginning to end. While I don't have an issue with it winning Best Picture (unlike others), I'm of the opinion that 'the Fighter' was the actual BP for last year.Originally posted by MartinWho the fuck is Kellan Lutz?Originally posted by gravediggerBasically what I'm saying is that, based on what I've watched so far, we should all listen to Matt more often.Originally posted by MartinAnd who the FUCK is Peaches Geldof?
