I watched Definitely, Maybe again the other night. I really like it. Ryan Reynolds rocks, and Isla Fischer is so hot.

I'm watching Wall-E right now. I fucking love this flick. It is definitely Pixar's best.

Netflix on the eggbox has been a complete blessing.

In the last three days, I've burned through the following:

Them (Ils in French), a good ol' home invasion flick. Very tense, and the protagonistlady (industry term, ya know) is unconventionally hot.

The Orphanage. Ghost story in Spain, produced by Guillermo del Toro. Solid performances and a great spooky atmosphere. The whambulance vs. old lady scene is especially jarring (awesome). So that's how old ladies look when their lower mandible runs the fuck away.

Excalibur. What can I say aside from the Arthurian legend is perfectly done in this flick. And Merlin is ballscrazy.

The Hospital. George C. Scott is the very definition of "old salt" in this movie. He plays a doctor railing against the horseshit he has to put up with in the medical industry. Word of advice: never piss GCS off. That fucker is awesome to watch when he yells at someone else.

Straw Dogs. Peckinpah in Engle Land! Dustin Hoffman and his hotwife (one word...and she's played by Susan George from Dirty Mary, Crazy Larry) move back to her hometown in the west country of England, and shit proceeds to go bad to worse to fuck this place. Another tale of violence, but almost an all-encompassing look at the varying kinds of it: domestic, sexual, emotional, communal (mob mentality), and others that I know I'm leaving out. A very interesting film, if a bit hard to watch in parts.

And Zero Effect. Bill Pullman is awesome as a send-up of Sherlock Holmes, as is Ben Stiller as Watson. Character-driven and full of Mamet-light intrigue. Pretty good little flick.

Soon to come: Buckaroo Bonzai, Madness of King George, Clash of the Titans, 13 Tzameti, and Lifeforce.

Update: apparently, they don't want me to watch Lifeforce on my eggbox. Fuckers.

Special- I don't like Michael Rappaport but he's great in this. Unfortunately, he's the only decent thing about the movie. Boring and sloooow as hell. I don't know how regular comic book nerds would be able to sit through it.

Watched Confessions of a Superhero again on Netflix because Lesley had never seen it. Great little doc about some fucked up people. And Wonder Woman is fucking hot. That is all.

I'll have to check that out... watched Wall-E for the first time, it was bad ass! Definayely didnt look as good as Ratatoulie on Blu but did have better sound.

Excalibur is the best Arthurian flick IMO...Watched half of Wall-E, great so far...sound is awesome, picture is great. Can't wait to pick up Cars. Pixar for the win.
