What Emmanuelle Movie Did You Just Watch?

The sickness continues. Today I watched 3 films that were all pretty good and that I never need to see again:

Milk
Cemetery Junction
Splice

I don't really have much to say about any of them other than Milk was the best and I would fuck a Dren.

Milk is great, but I can see why there's no reason to re-watch the movie.

At least Robin Williams didn't play Milk. At least we didn't get that.

Still kind of funny to see Kim Pine in that movie.

I've heard nothing but good about 'Milk', but I've seen the documentary on him ('The Life and Times of Harvey Milk') and I have a hard time believing that 'Milk' could be any better or more compelling.

Loved Milk. Saw it with the ex and on the way out ran into our very obviously gay HR director. He almost seemed embarrassed to run into me and I'm like dude come on, you're out of the closet and I'm walking out of the SAME FILM of course with a nice piece of female ass around my arm but still. Really want to see Cemetery Junction.

You're right, and part of that is because the documentary also talks about the Dan White trial.

You're not going to get that far with the movie. But the movie is the movie and it shouldn't be overlooked.

I loved the movie - I'd like to see the documentary, but the movie is nothing to sneeze at.

You can see the documentary on Hulu last time I checked.

And to even get a break down on how the trial fucked itself. You have to read Randy Shilt's book "The Mayor of Castro Street".

One of my personal favorite bits about the book was that, surprise, Milk could be a pain in the ass to work with. And, that he supported Goldwater in '64 because of his stance on communism.
