Watched Precious yesterday. Good performance from a couple of folks but just a depressing flick and having been a CPS worker it was a little to close to home as I've seen the fallout from abuse first hand during investigations.
Also watched Legendary with John Cena because my kid loves that bastard and I had to make sure the flick was ok before letting him watch it due to a PG-13 rating. (Which apparently was due to one of the characters flashing her boobs at boys WITHOUT showing them onscreen.) I'm thinking my boy can wait to see it later as I'm not sure he's ready for the boob talk yet. Also this was like watching a lifetime movie with less sappy music and without the expected happy ending. Don't get me wrong the ending is "happy" but not as predictable as I thought it would be.
