It was good. Just not the second coming of Christ (which some people seemed to have hyped). Really just a collection of action pieces. The fluff inbetween the action sequences were kind of boring. Maybe if I cared more about Big Daddy's character?Comment

The 'Kick-Ass Commentary' version on the blu-ray is fantastic. They show the film in a corner of the screen while they have:
- Matthew Vaughan, in a screening room, commenting on the film
- interviews with the cast and crew talking about the making of the film
- behind the scenes footage showing the filming of the scene that's now playing.
It's a really, REALLY cool look at the filmaking process.
Oh, and the film is great.
after watching that, we watched the first half hour of 'Surrogates'. Ugh. Such a waste of time.
after watching that, we watched 'The Jerk'. We finished the film, but only JUST...it had been probably 20 years since my last viewing of the film and, quite simply, I never should have revisited it. It's kinda painful to watch...forced humor of the LOOK HOW FUNNY I AM YOU SHOULD BE LAUGHING AT THIS variety rarely works for me anymore. Watched a bit of The Mask last night. Neat Jim Carrey tour-de-force, but what the hell happened to Cameron Diaz? She's never been as smoking hot as she was in that flick, and she had some decent curves to her back then!Comment
