For some reason, I missed out on all these b-movie sci-fi movies of the eighties. Or at least, I don't remember much aside from big studio releases like Raiders, Richard Pryor's Soul Glow VS. Drunk Superman, Empire Strikes with Incestuous Kissin', and its follow-up, When Carebears Attack.
I was too busy watching Bikini Carwash on the satellite at 2 in the morning hoping my dad didn't wake up to the recalibration of that POS dish.
Just kidding. Though I still haven't seen Last Starfighter, and I'm pretty sure it won't change my life like The Shins.
With that said, I saw the first hour or so of Cinemax's best block of entertainment this side of replaying The Gate for the fifteen billionth time: Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure.
Holy shit, that was my jam back in the day.
