The Night of the Hunter. It was pretty bad-ass. Gorgeous to look at, very stylized, very dreamlike. It's like Huckleberry Finn crossed with a slasher movie in a way. Robert Mitchum, man. So damn good.

Also: I just watched Ronin on Blu. Absolutely amazing to look at, especially on their first major heist setpiece.

Even with the silly OIRISH accents by Natasha McElhone and Johnny Pryce, it is still incredibly solid.

Yeah, I'm more of a stage musical guy, and I wasn't all that hot on Rent in either incarnation, so I didn't have a lot to contribute. But if you like Once, guess what? You like a musical. Face.
