What Emmanuelle Movie Did You Just Watch?

Watched a couple Amazon Prime movies last night.

Sound of Metal - Rhiz Ahmed rules. He plays a metal drummer that suddenly loses his hearing and has to learn how to cope with it. Really good flick. Not a feel good "oh look at the lessons learned and how everyone is sooo happy" kind of film. A real story with realist actions and consequences.

Get Duked - Fucking awful title, but a pretty fun horror comedy. Group of kids in Scotland get dumped in the Highlands to complete the Duke of Edinburgh challenge while being hunted by posh Eddie Izzard. You can do waaaay worse with your 90 minutes if you just want a fun time.

Pretty sure I recommended Get Duked a while back. It's waaaay more fun than it should be. Well worth your time.

Wrong Turn (2021) - This is a Wrong Turn reboot in NAME only. This was actually pretty decent in my opinion. Completely different than the original, some decent kills, and stuck the landing. Recommend a rental at least.

New Jack City - Hadn't watched this in like...20 years? Forgot how solid the cast is all the way through, great roster. My favorite part is Nino being handled a bottle of champagne with a straw in it and sipping while walking through the club. Amazing.

Watched the David Carradine film The Warrior and the Sorceress. There was no damned sorceress, just a topless girl that could make a sword.

Sometimes I seriously question the film choices I make.
