It is good, but I had qualms with it. All of my shit this week is late to post as I feel that the last 48 hours have just been one giant sustained work day.

Watched THE LAST JEDI again. It's even better than I remembered. Space Leia is still DUMB but I liked Canto Bight a lot more this time.

picked up all of the extended Hobbit/LOTR flicks this weekend. Never made it past the first 20 mins of the first Hobbit. It was still rough but picked up once they left Hobbiton. Still too damn long but I'm excited to make it through all of these at some point since I never have.

I really, really like the second one with Smaug in it. It's the only one of the three that feels almost akin to the original trilogy.

Quite liked Ready Player One myself. From what everyone who read the book (including Ana) said, Spielberg really gutted the book and translated the bare essentials of the plot to the screen, nuking a lot of fan-servicey bullshit. Thank God.

I say that. Everything to do with TJ Miller was eye-rolling. Got the feeling he too was supposed to be "revealed" for his in-real-life identity and that got cut because... yeaaaaah...

Yeah, I still don't like the Canto Bight stuff, but it isn't nearly as jarring as I remember it being. I think just the one drunk tiny alien is the only one that bugs me now.

Star Trek Beyond. Liked it better than Into Darkness. The 3 leads looked old and tired. It was ok. Can't imagine ever watching it again.
