    Felt like only Franco was aware (acting-wise) of that.

    I'll say this about Neighbors. If there was an Oscar for Best Baby Acting, that kid would win especially in the opening scene (where the film effectively peaked for my tastes). Not to be a li'l bitch but I was so pumped for that flick and then seeing it was just... eeeeeeh. Trailer just gave too much fucking away.

          I get that.

          And to be fair in that POV, expectations were so low on This is the End (awful trailers and the concept reeked of meta-bullshit) it had nowhere to go but up. Plus it was one of the high-lights in a widely-regarded shitty film summer.

                            I am not and I didn't like them either. Didn't like what little of Neighbors I saw either.


                            Watched Lucy the other day. I'm still not sure how I feel about it. Slightly flat; very meh ending.

                                MAGGIE-'I remember when this came out some reviews compared it to The Last of Us. It certainly matches tone. But it's a pretty small story and I never really felt for the characters like I did with the game. It sets the mood pretty well and establishes an interesting world.
