        Gone Girl was fantastic.

        Solid performances, sharp satirization of media culture and of the mutation that can be seen in relationships and people as a whole under the scrutiny of preserving the imagined perfect marriage.

        Not a date night movie.

              The hype for the soundtrack is not justified. It's subtle and bombastic in the right places but it's not some sort of groundbreaking thing.

              The same people who came all over his work on the Social Network are the same ones praising this one.
