      LOVE that movie. Watching all the different fighting styles is fascinating. I particularly dig the monkey style dude and the capoeira guy.
      I like the way the line runs up the back of the stocking.

        Monkey guy was my fave.

        Showed the youngling "Blazing Saddles" yesterday. She agreed it lived up to my hyperbolic claim of "offending anyone and everyone". She also laughed her ass off.

        Score another for dad. Gonna hit the universal Frankenstein duo and then step on up to Young Frankenstein with a bit of context going on.

          It just makes me happy whenever I watch it. Everything works so well (fag joke not included, but hey, it was the 80s...) and I'll never get tired watching Napoleon acting like a jerkass.

                        This. So much win in Excellent Adventure. As a history major, I enjoyed it on a whole different level, too. I could totally picture Lincoln giving that speech at the end. And Genghis Khan and Beethoven in the Mall are freakin' hilarious.

                            Just saw it today. It's like they wanted to update the Equalizer and then Denzel said let's just make the same fucking thing I always do.

                            Very mediocre movie. The beginning is very promising, but it's just meh.

                            I can't sing The Boxtrolls' praises high enough.

                            This is Where I Leave You is strong, but not amazingly strong.

                            A Walk Among the Tombstones is great except for Liam Neeson. They could've cast the lead SO MUCH better.
