THE BRASS TEAPOT- you could probably argue that the filmmakers didn't push the violence as far as they could/should have but I don't think that was entirely the point. Or at least they were trying to keep a little bit of a black comedy bent to the movie. It does present a good evolution of violence that the characters inflict on themselves and others, though. Overall I thought it was entertaining but forgettable.Comment

Can't decide what to watch. Front runners are Pacific Rim, Robocop, Ghostbusters, The Act of Killing, The Thing, or Gravity. Leaning towards The Thing. There are all kinds of horrors going on in my lungs so body horror seems appropriate.Comment

The Act of Killing is AMAZING. And don't think that it's too heavy - it is jaw-dropping at times, but it's also perversely entertaining in how unaware the participants are when it comes to how they might be portrayed.
