Quite a few films have been viewed over the holidays, so I'd just like to focus on this to emphasize my surprise...
Maybe I was feeling uncharacteristically generous at the time, but Crystal Skull was on TV here recently and I enjoyed it a lot more the second time round. It's obviously nowhere near as good as its predecessors, but once the adventure really gets going, I found it very hard to dismiss what is a wonderfully old-fashioned yarn filled with humour and sentimentality. Even the CG animal time didn't bother me and I promise I wasn't drunk whilst watching.
