MIRACLE MILE was a damned good flick as I recall. I may have to track that one down for a rewatch.

And yeah, a double feature of THE RAID: REDEMPTION and DREDD is like a triple shot of adrenaline and testosterone straight to the heart. Those films are proof that God loves us and wants us to be men. Manly men.

Mile holds up very well.

Note to self: drink a Red Bull right before watching that said double feature.

My inadvertent Anna Kendrick film festival continued with END OF WATCH. Not for those who get motion sickness but it's rather good. It certainly does first-person better than DOOM. Very tense at times but Darko and Pena are good at bringing levity in the down moments. The only problem I had was that I kept thinking about Pena's character from OBSERVE AND REPORT.
