          Once it came out on DVD I swear everyone I knew was constantly watching it. Then two of my kinda-buddies got names of the characters tattooed on their asses.

                Never watched Varsity Blues.

                Remember being turned off by the "Let's be heroes!" line from the trailer. Heroes? You're a bunch of fucking high-school football players!

                            About 5 years ago they built a stadium near me that had larger capacity than Texas Stadium.

                                Yeah Texas Football is mega cray. Is the movie a bit over the top? Yeah in some areas, but honestly the stuff that's dialed to 11 in the movie is still about a solid 8 1/2 - 9 in real life.
