Really enjoyed The Beaver and Gibson's performance...HOWEVER I felt that there could have been a few cuts made to tidy up the edit. I don't necessarily need to buy it or watch it over and over again but I did enjoy it.

The only movie that was like this that I had seen before where one of the leads doesn't end up like this is Robert DeNiro in Casino. Pretty much every other mob movie ends up with a) dead Joe Pesci, and b) lead characters either dead or in jail or horribly broken.Comment

The reason I found Goodfellas captivating all the way through was that, as a film, it was consistently beautiful and had a well told story throughout. The scene where Ray Liota brings his girlfriend into the kitchen entrance to the Copa Copbana was intoxicating. There was SO much going on in every INCH of the screen, and I knew it was on purpose because I wasn't even fucked up on pain killers and I noticed this.
Fifth Element? Had the potential to be interesting for about 2 minutes. Once it devolves into slapstick and "the fifth element is love" bullshit I turn it off. MATT AND BOBBY, I STAND UNITED!Comment
