Sorry, but I hated him in 'Spaceballs'. Anything even remotely funny in that film had absolutely ZERO to do with him.

Oh, no doubt there - a million other things in that movie were funnier than him. But he still held his own in a great ensemble cast. Besides... this is his thread now!

Look, he'll ALWAYS be known for 'Independence Day'. He delivered in that role, and I'm not going to take it away from him. His BEST work was in 'Serpent and the Rainbow' and 'Zero Effect', though. Everything else is a paycheck.

It's true, Paxton is the awesome.

However, since I have ID4 on, you really have to give it up to Pullman:
