I agree with Matt (?) The Good, The Bad and the Ugly is great. But if you're trying to get into the genre I wouldn't start with that one...Once Upon a Time in the West would be my rec. I haven't seen Josey, but that shit is getting bumped to the top of my queue.
If you do decide to watch TGTBTU...watch it in the correct order 1.Fistful of Dollars 2. A Few Dollars More 3. TGTBTU...it will be worth it.
Also stay away from Mag 7, although it's a great film, it's not the most exciting Western.

That's the order in which they were filmed, but TG,tB,aTU is first STORYWISE.
