Favorite James Bond flick?

Thoughts on the series? I dig Connery and Moore. Dalton was more of a badass but his movies weren't that great and Pierce did well then suffered the fate of ever increasingly shitty scripts. And now we have Craig playing Jason Bour...I mean James Bond. So what is your favorite?

I'd have to say I dig the fuck out of Goldeneye, Goldfinger and The Man with the Golden Gun (what? I like gold motherfuckers), but I do dig Casino Royale. Anything is better than Die Another Day (although the precredits and theme was pretty decent).

I didn't grow up watching these flicks, so I have no nostalgic ties to any of them. Goldeneye was the first one I saw in theater and that was by accident as the movie we were going to see was sold out. I'm sure I'll get flamed for my choices, but it's cool.

The one great thing about Connery's Bond is that he's practically a rapist, albeit a smooth one. All the women say no, but he's not having that shit. He'll pimp smack a bitch if need be. All in the service of the Queen.

Growing up, Roger Moore was my MOVIE Bond and Sean Connery was my SUNDAY NIGHT ON ABC Bond. I have far more affection for Roger Moore than is probably warranted, but there it is. To a certain degree, I enjoyed ALL of the Moore films (yes...ALL), but I will readily admit that only 'The Spy Who Loved Me' and 'For Your Eyes Only' are genuinely great films.

I actually prefer TWsLM as my favorite film of this grouping.

I chose Live and Let Die...I <3 Bond flicks. And although I dig Connery, Moore is my favorite Bond. I love how he plays it almost comically. The new flicks with Craig are cool too, I understand the whole "Bourne" comparison, but I like the direction they're going in. I hope (if there is another one) that they do more gadgets and shit. I know these two were supposed to be low tech, but at some point they need to start introducing some bad ass gadgets and cars that turn into submarines.

Bond without gadgets is boring. I couldn't even make it through Quantum because I was so bored.
