. LOTR was never my thing. My pops has loved this series since he was a kid and tried multiple times to get me into them but it never stuck. But FOTR strikes the perfect balance. I'm a sucker for the beginning of things and seeing them all join the fellowship is fantastic. As is the whole part down in the mines.
But TTT bored me to death in the theater and ROTK was just too damn long.
