Second, if you're planning to go to the San Diego Comic Con, note it here so we can start collaborating on rooms and transportation if it's needed.

Never been, but I hear the foot traffic is a nightmare with so many mouthbreathers converging on one spot. I'd rather head to a smaller one before going to a giant flopsweat orgy of nerdery.

I've been to a smaller comic convention (Emerald City Comic Con) and the experience is nothing like the San Diego Comic Con. Also, it wasn't as smelly. Some of those fucking nerds do not shower or use deodorant/cologne.

But the experience is worth it. Especially, when you're in one of the exhibition halls watching a movie preview that others won't see for months.

Honestly, do all four days. In the end it's cheaper and you get to hit everything. One day is not enough to check out all of the exhibits and panels.

Comic Con is a love/hate relationship with me.

I love the toys and movies.

I hate the lines and cost.

Last year the smell was much more decent, thank God.

Yeah. The line thing is what would kill it for me, as I would want to get a commission or two (though all of that is in advance) and at least meet Ed Brubaker and Skottie Young (which would have a line akin to getting on the fucking Ark, I'm sure).

Better to do that at Windy City or Heroes Con, I suspect.
