Meta comic reading?

Do any of you catch up on comic back stories by reading character bios and such on Wikipedia?

I used to be in the xmen when i was a kid, but not so much anymore into comics. However, I still feel like I am in the loop by reading wikipedia.

I don't really follow comics anymore. Minus The Walking Dead and random issues of non-superhero stuff.

wikipedia is crack for nerds. i'll wiki anything and everything. from marvel zombies to 300 to robocop to anything and everything dark tower. i've also wiki'd civil war, death of captain america, 52, the walking dead, 100 bullets, fables, and y the last man.

Yeah, when I buy a figure that I'm not to familiar with (X-19, Danger), I'll use Wiki to find out more about the character. Also, if I'm interested in whole stories (Planet Hulk), I'll use Wiki.

HAHAHA! I like to buy complete sets of figures. In the above case, I needed X-19 to complete my build-a-figure Apocalypse, and Danger to complete my build-a-figure Brood Queen (or was it Blob?). I usually don't buy random figures outta the blue. Except for Composite Superman. I knew nothing of Composite Superman but had to buy him just cause he was so freakin bizzare looking.

I hate reading a bio on wiki only to find out it was a fictional character bio. There are real people with shorter entries.
