Looking for some INSPIRATO, I ended up rereading the third trade of The Goon...the one with the Man-in-Suit battle between Goon and the Mexican Horned Frog, EL LAGARTO HOMBRE!

The EC Comics-inspired art, the bizarre breaks in the narrative for commercials/fake ads, and all set in a ghoul-infested Prohibition Era. It takes me back to weird mash-up stuff like Zombies Ate My Neighbors and the SCUMM games.

When the fuck is the movie ever gonna get it's ass out here and entertain me?

Picked up Vol. 7 of Dark Horse's Savage Sword of Conan collections. Never get tired of 'em, and I'm kicking myself that I passed on the originals so long ago.

Sure, I'm late to the party on recommending it, but it is great stuff.
