  • Next Gen Nano-Desktop issue.

I had my old itunes library set up on my old netbook, which recently quite shit the bed. I just purchased a snazzy new desktop, but I have a dilemma, in that I'm trying to get my entire library into the itunes on my new desktop and running into trouble. Last time this happened, I downloaded Ephpod for free, and that worked great, but that was with an older Click Wheel ipod, the ipod I have now is the Nano6. I tried the method of forcing my ipod to show hidden files and then cut and pasting into a different folder, but itunes wouldn't recognize the files(I read online that that would happen for next gen ipods). There are programs that do what I want them to do, but they're 30 bucks, and I'm a cheap-ass. Also, all of the songs are still on my ipod itself, so I'm not really pressed.

    Any clever ideas?

The old HDD is completely dead and you can't access the old iTunes file I'm guessing?

      That is correct.
I'm trying the copy/paste method again right now, but it might be fruitless.
