How many open tabs before Firefox surrenders?

This isn't an issue so much as a question- how many tabs can you have open before Firefox cries and goes softly into that dark night? I have like 10 tabs open right now as I continue my research into finding someone useful at GMAC and it's still running pretty smooth. It takes a few seconds to load everything when I open the browser again but otherwise everything is fine. I did not expect this.

I've had 20+ while surfing BDR. One per thread. It starts to take forever to load but haven't failed yet.

This is a memory issue, I think.

yeah, firefox is a memory hog after a while.

Yeah, you certainly shouldn't just leave firefox running overnight or anything, it gets exponentially worse over time memory wise.
