Quick quetion: is it better to buy online or buy the box? Cause I know there's the 1 to 3 years deal, + 1, 3 or 5 users. But when you get the download, it says one activation. IF I buy, install, and then catch some bad shit that forces me to format, is this activation nul or is it like Steam and I can just re-download?

I believe it's all tied to a key and not an installation. So in theory if you have to format you should be able to re-download it and enter the key. But I would contact them to ask to be sure. I never bought the box and never had any issues.
