I know he had a TON of games we played, but I can only remember Samurai Showdown and Road Rash.

It was the game Twisted and The Horde for us in regards to the 3d0

We would eventually go back to Samurai Showdown on 3DO because this kid was spoiled as a motherfucker.

Mario Tennis was indeed the shit on the VB, but I could only play for so long before I'd lose my fucking mind and seek solace in the loving arms of a Cannon film.

I never had any problems besides a sore neck when it came to the Virtual Boy. I can't in good conscious say it was a good system, but I had fun with it.

Yeah, my neighbor had it, and within a week we all stopped playing because we didn't hate ourselves yet. OH YOUTH.

TANGENT POLICE: STOP, CRIMINAL SCUM
Getting back to the original question, the jaded attitude for me (and other mes out there) boils down to understanding the bottom line sans Stone Cold saying so: profit.
"We need to sell new shit because everyone's bought the old shit so lets make some new shit for those shits to buy at the expense of fun shit on our current shit because we can't get as much money from this shit as we could if we had new shit to sell."
We gamers forget this all the time and bitch accordingly when we should be grateful that there is even an industry devoted to interactive entertainment.
I understand it, but I'm just as hu-mon as the next Bill Cosby, so I find some catharsis in bitching about how things are (and it serves as a trivial distraction to the boredom everyone experiences every day).
