Loved it. In all honesty. It should've been "Timothy Green/Brave". They both touched on similar issues that I feel are missing from films targeting kids.

The hate for Seeking a Friend is full retard.

Everything about the movie tells you upfront the world will not be saved... and yet it was still sweet and life-affirming. How did people miss that?

One of the sweetest and best endings I've seen in a few years.

I have not seen nearly as many movies this year as I wanted to. And I doubt many of them will be on Amazon to rent by the holidays, or I will have much time over my vacation to see most of them.

                  In no particular order...

                  The Avengers
                  The Cabin in the Woods
                  The Raid
                  Killing Them Softly
                  The Imposter
                  Nostalgia for the Light
                  The Descendants
                  Take This Waltz
                  Moonrise Kingdom
                  21 Jump Street

That's all I got so far.
I experienced an invasion of my mind by a transcendentally rational mind, as if I had been insane all my life and suddenly I had become sane.

I'm still buzzing on Cabin in the Woods. However, "Celeste and Jesse Forever" caught me offguard as it's the first realistic romantic comedy.

I've got to say that, while it's far from perfect and very on the nose, I enjoyed the hell out of God Bless America, which only made it to these shores earlier this year. Frank's speech to the douche in his office before he sets off on his rampage - 'Why have a civilization anymore if we no longer are interested in being civilized?' - is epic.

Best movie of 2012 is easily Devin Gets His Ass Kicked: the Movie.

                            Devin owned.
